Freespace BMX track opened back in 2011 as a Regional venue. It was used for a several years before it was left overgrown. We saw it as an opportunity to bring racing back to the track in the form of 4x Racing.Eastleigh council have given us the Go-ahead to turn this into a community built 4x track and soon bike park.
4x (pronounced "four cross"), is a relatively new style of mountain bike racing where four bikers race downhill on a prepared, BMX-like track, simply trying to get down first. A lot of BMX riders will recognize this format. This makes a great mix of riders from different backgrounds. Whether you own a full suspension Enduro rig or a short poppy Dirt Jumper. As long as it has two brakes, you're ready to start racing!
In order for us to keep running the club, we need funds for tools and running costs.
